RP causes night-blindness and a loss of peripheral vision (side vision) through the progressive degeneration of the retina.

Varicose Veins: Varicose veins are swollen and enlarged veins that are usually blue or dark purple. They may also be lumpy, bulging or twisted in appearance. Veins have leaflet valves to prevent blood from flowing backwards (retrograde flow). Leg muscles pump the veins to return blood to the heart, against the effects of gravity. When veins become varicose, the leaflets of the valves no longer meet properly, and the valves do not work. This allows blood to flow backwards and they enlarge even more.
Variola (Smallpox). Vascular Dementia. Vascular Diseases. Vasculitis. Velocardiofacial Syndrome.
Venereal Diseases: Sexually transmitted infections (STI), also previously referred to as sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and venereal diseases (VD), are illnesses that has a significant probability of transmission between humans by means of human sexual behavior, including vaginal intercourse, oral sex, and anal sex.

These layers are called the meninges – they help to protect the brain from injury and infection. Viral meningitis is more common than bacterial meningitis and, although rarely life-threatening, it can make people very unwell.

Whooping Cough: Whooping cough is caused by a bacteria (Bordetella pertussis) and is one of the most contagious bacterial infections. The disease begins with symptoms of a cold and a mild, dry, irritating cough. One to two weeks later, the typical coughing bouts set in. The coughing continues until no air is left in the lungs. The following deep intake of breath produces a 'whooping' sound when the air passes the larynx (windpipe), and it is this that gives rise to the name of the disease.
William-Beuren Syndrome. Williams Syndrome. Wilms Tumor.
Wilson Disease: Wilson disease is a rare inherited disorder that causes your body to retain copper. Normally, your liver releases copper it doesn't need into bile, a digestive fluid. With Wilson disease, this does not happen. Copper builds up in your liver and injures liver tissue. Over time, the damage causes your liver to release the copper directly into your bloodstream. The blood carries copper all over your body which can eventually damage your kidneys, liver, brain and eyes.
