I-Cell Disease. Ichthyosis. Icterus (Jaundice). IDDM. Idiopathic Environmental Intolerances (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity). Idiopathic Parkinson Disease (Parkinson Disease). IgA Deficiency. Ileitis (Crohn Disease).
Immunodeficiency Syndrome, Acquired (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome): Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) is a disease of the human immune system caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). The illness interferes with the immune system making people with AIDS much more likely to get infections, including opportunistic infections and tumors that do not affect people with working immune systems. This susceptibility gets worse as the disease continues. HIV is transmitted in many ways, such as: vaginal, oral or anal sex; blood transfusion; contaminated hypodermic needles; and exchange between mother and baby during pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.
Immunologic Deficiency Syndromes.
Impetigo: Impetigo is a highly contagious bacterial skin infection most common among pre-school children. People who play close contact sports such as rugby, American football and wrestling are also susceptible, regardless of age. Impetigo generally appears as honey-colored scabs formed from dried serum, and is often found on the arms, legs, or face.
Impotence. Impulse Control Disorders. Inclusion Disease. Incontinentia Pigmenti.
Indigestion (Dyspepsia): Indigestion, also known as dyspepsia, is a term used to describe one or more symptoms including a feeling of fullness during a meal, uncomfortable fullness after a meal, and burning or pain in the upper abdomen.

Inflammatory Bowel Diseases: In medicine, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a group of inflammatory conditions of the colon and small intestine. The major types of IBD are Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Crohn's can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract, from mouth to anud; ulcerative colitis, in contrast, is restricted to the colon and the rectum.
Inflammatory Response Syndrome. Injuries. Insulin Resistance. Insulinoma. Intention Tremor. Intersexuality (Hermaphroditism). Interstitial Lung Diseases. Intervertebral Disk Displacement. Intestinal Diseases. Intestinal Obstruction. Intestinal Polyps. Intracranial Central Nervous System Disorders. Iodamoebiasis.
Iodine Deficiency: Iodine is an essential trace element; the thyroid hormones thyroxine and triiodotyronine contain iodine. In areas where there is little iodine in the diet, typically remote inland areas where no marine foods are eaten, iodine deficiency gives rise to goiter, as well as cretinism, which results in developmental delays and other health problems. Some countries are combatting this by the addition of small amounts of iodine to table salt in form of sodium iodide, potassium iodide, and/or potassium iodate, this product is known as iodized salt. Iodine compounds have also been added to other foodstuffs, such as flour, water and milk in areas of deficiency. Seafood is also a well known source of iodine.
